Once again the Art of Norwich will be opening the
doors on their eight exhibition of locally created artwork. The
Art of Norwich exhibitions provide a fresh, vibrant and imaginative
display of creativity, while always achieving a high standard of
quality.
The Art of Norwich strives to provide a cost-effective space for
local grass roots artists to express their minds. By giving a fair
and unbiased opportunity to all artists, they attain a good balance
of regular participants and newcomers, with a plethora of styles
being represented. Much of the work is available to purchase, often
at very reasonable prices, which may interest those looking for
a unique gift or decoration for their home.
Art of Norwich organiser, Ruski, explains "Since it's inception
only two years ago, the Art of Norwich has evolved with a life of
it's own. Each show has had a different feel to it, and the quality
of work has never failed to impress me. Each of the seven shows
so far have beaten the attendance records set by their predecessors,
our most recent show was seen by over 1100 visitors during the two
weeks, plus an excellent turnout at the private view. The credit
must go to our artists who contributed to such amazing displays,
and have helped build the Art of Norwich to become such a popular
outlet for local artists and art lovers."
The exhibition will take place at St Margaret’s Church, located
on St Benedict’s Street in the heart of Norwich's City Centre.
If you find yourself in the vicinity with a few moments to spare,
why not pop in and take a look?
